Lifelong Education within Knowledge Economy

We have entered into a period of knowledge economy at the beginning of this century.The essence of the knowledge economy is Hi-tech industry,whose potential resource is human intelligence.Thus focusing on education,talent and learning has become one of the main characteristics of knowledge economy.In a sense,the knowledge economy will be a kind of educating and learning economy.With the development of the advanced imformation and knowledge explosion in modern society,one could-nt satisfy his long-term goal.by expecting that learning temporily Therefore,lifelong education system must be set up.Lifelong education which is the basis of knowledge economy has been greatly valued by every country.Carrying out lifelong education should cover the following three aspects:the objects of education,i.e,all the citizens have the right to be educated without any additional restraint;period of education should extend to the whole life;and finally the scope of education should be further expanded into a lifelong education system suit-able in our country.
