Abstract

Objective To improve the diagnosis and treatment of spontaneous hemorrhage from adrenal gland tumors.?Methods Two cases of spontaneous bleeding in adrenal tumor were presented with literature review.?Results 2 cases were diagnosed with both adrenal and lung neoplasms by ultrasonography and CT. After medical therapy, radical operations were performed in the lung and adrenal. Pathologic examination showed the histology of the adrenal tumor was identical to that of the lung tumor, either as squamous cell carcinoma or as adenocarcinoma.?Conclusions Spontaneous bleeding in adrenal tumor is a urological emergency. Medical therapy should be prescribed first. Ultrasonography and CT are useful for locating the primary and metastatic tumors. On the basis of the variety of documented cases, it can be seen that all incidentalomas of the adrenal should be treated positively.
