Abstract
In this report, a designing method of interface circuit and software is provided, which can implement an interface between TMS320C5402 digital signal processor and TLC2543 12-bit, analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The design is based on the principle of SPI serial port interface. This interface can be adapted for use in interfacing DSP multi-channel buffered serial port to any other devices across the SPI. The results obtained in this report can be. interpreted that interfacing a TMS320C54x DSP to other devices across a standard serial peripheral interface (SPI) can bring about circuit simplification and convenience for control.
