Clinical Effects of Enalapril Combined with Valsartan for Chronic Heart Failure

Objective To evaluation the efficacy of enalapril alone and combined with valsartan in the treatment of congestive heart failure(CHF).Methods115 cases with CHF,NYHA class II to IV,were randomly divided into control group(enalapril group,n=55) and treatment group(enalapril+valsartan group,n=60).The treatment course lasted 4 weeks.The clinical symptoms,physical sign,cardiac function and adverse reactions were observed.ResultsNYHA class in both groups was significantly improved after treatment.There was a significantly difference in effective rate between two groups(P0.05),enalapril+valsartan group was better than enalapril group in improving heart composition and function(P0.05).There were adverse reactions in both groups,but the extent was relatively light in the treatment group.ConclusionsThe composition of enalapril and valsartan is prior to enalapril alone in the treatment of CHF.
