Abstract
A large of raw video files is generated by the traditional CMOS and CCD camera, which stored in the original uncompressed file is bound to take up much storage space and transmission bandwidth. The S3C6410 processor not only supports camera input, but also supplies MPEG-4 video compressor for video compression which offers a perfect hardware platform.DirectShow based on WinCE is a powerful streaming media processing architecture. The video acquisition and compression is performed by a variety of different functions. To perform video compression on wince based on S3C6410 Processor, the design of MPEG-4 filter is a key link. The design method is introduced and the application effect and performance is shown.
