Abstract
With the improvement of locomotive quality,the service life of locomtive is longer than before.Based on this achievement,DF_4 locomotives realised flexiable mileage repair according to the real status in 1993.In this way,the running mileage was extended and the repair rate was also be reduced.This created favourable conditions for modifing the regulations for repair and inspection in depot in 1993.In (addition) to extending the running mileage,the scope of repair was reduced and the oil drain intervals are extended.With the development of detection technology,the detection for main parts can be enhanced and this will lay the foundation of realising locomotive repair according to its status.
