Abstract
Ultrastructure, type and distribution of antennal sensilla of Assara inouei Yamanaka were studied with scanning electron microscopy. The antennal sensillas were classified into 9 types, including trichodea sensillaⅠ,trichodea sensillaⅡ,chaetica sensilla, basiconca sensilla, coeloconica sensilla,cavitata-peg sensilla, auricillica sensilla, squamiformia sensilla and Bohm bristles. The cavitata-peg sensilla was only distributed on the antennae of females. The number of squamiformia sensilla and trichodea sensilla on the tips of male was higher than that of female.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
