Abstract
A new method for the determination of trace copper in water by flame atomic absorption spectrometry with cloud point extraction was developed. The experimental conditions were optimized. The chemical variables affecting the separation and extraction recovery were studied. The method was applied to the determination of copper in water sample and standard soil with satisfactory results.
