Abstract
To evaluate the early clinical effects of continuous passive motion(CPM)after total knee replacement(TKR).From 2008 to 2010,36 patients(43 knees) who underwent TKR were divided into 2 groups.Group B were treated with CPM after operation, compared to group A with single physiotherapy and initiative exercise. There was statistically significant difference between the two groups in range of motion(ROM)in 1 and 2 week after operation.CPM is benefit to the ROM of the joint in early stage post operation.
