Abstract

A high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) method for the determination of Mequindox(MEQ) residues in aquatic products was developed. The samples were extracted by mixed solution of acetonitrile-ethyl acetate.Clean-up was carried out with n-hexane and the analyte was determined by HPLC.The linear relationship between the peak area and concentration was good in the range of 50-1 000 μg/L.The limit of quantitation was 20 μg/kg.The mean recovery rate was over 70.0% within the range of 20-100 μg/kg,and the relative standard deviation rate was less than 10%.The method is simple, fast, sensitive, with good repeatability and reliable results, thus can meet the requirement of mass and fast analysis in the laboratory.
