Features of Historical Records about Disasters in the Central and Middle Areas of Inner Mongolia in the Ming and Qing Dynasty

Through an analysis of the historical records about disasters in the central and middle areas of Inner Mongolia in books and literature in the Ming and Qing Dynasty,this article makes an investigation of the time,space,intensity,frequency and relief of natural disasters at that time.It studies the characteristics of records about historical disasters: the records covered a wide area,they were continual though with some interruptions,they were rich in category,concrete and detailed.The purpose of the study is to offer some useful information for disaster relief at present.
