Schutz's Lifeworld Theory and Its Contemporary Significance

As the founder of phenomenological sociology,Schutz was a famous phenomenologist as well.Lifeworld theory is not only the core issue of his lifetime research,but also the most creative part of his theoretical study.His theory offering us reference for our research on lifeworld,we can draw inspiration from Schutz on our construction of modern society's lifeworld in China.This paper expounds Schutz's lifeworld theory from the basic attitude of people,motivation of action and the essence and core of lifeworld,attempting to find out the theory's current significance.
