Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical value of acute infectious diseases diagnosed by combined detection of C-reactive protein(CRP) and white blood cell(WBC). Methods 100 children with acute infection in our hospital from December 2012 to January 2014 were selected as observation group, the other 50 children without acute infection came to be control group,CRP and WBC content were detected in peripheral blood of patients from the 2 groups. Results It shoud be observe that CRP and WBC content of the observation group was significantly higher than the control group, with statistically significant difference(P 0.01),to compare with other indicators, there was obvious difference between the positive rate of combined detection of CRP and WBC, with statistical significance(P 0.05).Compared to the individual project detection, combined detection had higher positive detection rate. Conclusion CRP and WBC are sensitive indexes in children with acute infection, has important clinical value for the diagnosis of children with acute infections though the timely and accuratly combined detection.
