Abstract

Various degrees of synergic effects of Bacillus thuringiensis aqueous concentrate and 25% dimethypo against Cnaphalocrocis medinalis were obtained in a laboratory bioassay when the bio-pesticide was used in mixture with dimethypo at different ratios. Optimal synergistic activity occurred at 3:1 and 1:1 mixture ratios with the toxicity coefficients of 265 and 298, respectively. The toxicity of the mixture at 1:1 ratio was 1.71 times higher than that of dimethypo alone. Applying the mixture at 1:1 ratio in the field plot test gave approximately the same control effect as using dimethypo alone at the same treatment dose.
