Abstract
With the development of public sport and the arrival of sport leisure era,sport leisure industry has developed rapidly in the world and appears in China,while Chinese people still hold a vague understanding of its concept,connotation and nature.This paper analyzes the extension definition,intension definition and integrated definition of leisure by comparison;it also interprets the relative definition and relations of sport leisure,public sport and so on,studies the natural attributes,activity types,component elements of sport leisure.Based on these analysises,it explains and discriminates sport leisure,leisure sport,and public sport from different perspectives such as their definitions, nature,participants,activity types,and participants' aims and so on.
