Abstract
With the influence from the gardening arts of the east and west,the Russian Landscape Garden has undergone one hundred years'development since the middle 18th century.A great number of important pieces of arts came out during this time,including Katherine Park,Pavlovsk Park and Sofievka Park.Based on the natural landscape,the Russian Landscape Garden created rich space with little human interruption where the architecture was harmonized well with its surrounding environment.The regular layout and use of native plantings were encouraged in the Russian Landscape Garden which exerted great influnce on the construction of Russian Garden.
