Abstract
In order to give full play to the potential longitudinal ventilation capacity of jet fans in a double-tube one-way highway tunnel,considering the different ventilation loads between two adjacent up-line and down-line tunnels and the basic theories of tunnel ventilation,the paper carried out a detailed study on a new-type tunnel ventilation by air exchange,and also provided the design and computation method,utilized to perform the ventilation design of a tunnel.Results indicate that if the tunnel ventilation system is constructed by the air exchange principle,the initial cost and operating cost for ventilation can be reduced.
