Abstract

Early Buddhist Scriptures have quite a few colloquial elements which are precious linguistic materials for research.This paper discusses ten words of Buddhist Scriptures in the East Han Dynasty by complementing the inappropriateness of dictionaries and prevenient explanation,or by explaining the words which have never been explained.
