Each of the five general anthologies of Song-dynasty poetry,Shi Jia Ding Luan,Song Shi Shi Yi,Song Yi Pu Ji,Song Shi Wu Jia Shi Xuan,Sheng Song Gao Seng Shi Xuan,has its own characteristics respectively for someone selects the best and someone collects the most,which turns out to be valuable as the literary works and historical data together with their great limitations.The former four are compiled by people in various dynasties from the Song,Yuan,Ming to Qing,while the latter anthologizes poems by monks both in the Northern and Southern Song Dynasties,which is beneficial to the Buddhism literature research.
