Abstract
Landfill leachate was treated by Fenton Oxidation Process. The effect of initial pH on wastewater, the dosages of H2O2 and FeSO4·H2O,the reaction time and the adding mode were investigated. The optimal condition was obtained as follows: pH = 3,c(H2O2)= 18 mL ·L-1,c(FeSO4·H2O)= 0.5%,t = 100 minutes, and adding mode = 3 times of adding. When these conditions are met,the COD removal efficiency can reach about 40% and therefore improves the condition for the later biology-treatment.
