Abstract
Qin Liangyu was an outstanding woman commander at the end of Ming Dynasty. She put down the chieftain rebellion, served the Ming emperor and fought against the Qing, and attacked peasant insurrectionary army. She had been busily engaged in warfare to safeguard the state unification and national unity. She set up an immortal monument for the Three Gorges area and even China as a whole by her lofty patriotism and perfect personality charm.
