Abstract

A brief account of new technology of steel slag processing and its application as the second resource at Baosteel are given . In the past 20 years, with technical development, Baosteel' s slag processing level has been improved and has shown features of diversity. Now Baosteel has placed more emphasis on the fountainhead management and the necessity and creativity of the technical innovation than ever. Steel slag has been utilized in all directions at Baosteel on the basis of its properties. Baosteel has extended its second resource application technology and periodic achievements in application area. It has also put forward the direction for slag processing technology and its application as the second resource.
