Abstract

An on time monitoring and measuring was made on the cutting height status,haulage speed,mining face inclination and running position of the coal shearer.Then the above all information ware transmitted the substation near the control table in underground mine via CAN bus and transmitted to the monitoring and control room at the mine surface via the industrial Ethernet.The dynamic pictures of the coal shearer operation in underground mine and monitoring and measuring data can be simulated and displayed on the visualized platform in the monitoring and control room.With the simulated display in the monitoring and control room,people on the surface can on time understand the actual mining operation in the coal mining face which could let the coal mining technology practiced and managed and could improve the working efficiency and management level.
