In the early years of Qing dynasty, the nobles of Man nationality forced many Hans to be assimilated into their own culture by various means. Meanwhile, in order to maintain their dominion, the scarce Mans who were still backward in economy and culture also had to absorb much culture from the Hans, which assimilated themselves gradually into the Han's culture after the middle of Qing dynasty. Therefore, the association and the amalgamation were the inexorable trend of the development of the relationship between Man nationality and Han nationality in Qing dynasty.
