Abstract

Cyclohexene was oxidized to cyclohexanone catalytically by Pd(NO 3) 2/Schiff base Fe(Ⅲ)/hydroquinone. Some factors influencing the activity of the catalyst were studied. Experimental results showed that in the catalyst sytstem, palladium compounds, water, acid, Schiff base and hydroquinone are necessary. The best reaction conditions are temprature, about 40℃; acid concentration, 75~80 mmol/L; hydroquinone concentration, 4~6 mmol/L.
