Abstract

The essential spirit of harmony in Chinese aesthetic culture runs through the different elements,different levels,and different dimensions of Chinese aesthetic culture.It also has some basic features: Aesthetic ideas of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism constitute the basic contents of Chinese aesthetic culture;Merging of perception and rational cognition is the major feature of Chinese aesthetic culture;Connecting of ethics and aesthetics is another important feature.
