Abstract
Objective To investigate and compare the recovery of patients with different ways nutrition support therapy in gastric cancer postoperative. Methods 60 cases patients with gastric cancer postoperative in general surgery department of Taiyuan Center Hospital from Oct. 2012 to Jan. 2014 were collected. Those patients were randomly divided into three groups, including the EN(enteral nutrition) group, the PN(parenteral nutrition) group, the EN+PN group, 20 cases in each group. The pre-operation and post-operation body weight, blood routine, hepatorenal function, patient's hospital stay, postoperative exhaust time and complications of the object was observed. ResultsEN, EN+PN group nutrition support after 8 days weight were decreased significantly lower than the PN group; EN, EN+PN group nutrition support after 8 days of HB, TRF, TP and ALB nutrition indicators were significantly better than the PN group; EN, EN+PN group the average hospitalization time, postoperative exhaust time were significantly shortened than the PN group; EN, EN+PN group the damage hepatorenal function, postoperative infection, poor healing of incision, pulmonary infection and other complications was lower than the PN group; It was no significant difference between the EN group and the EN+PN group. Conclusion Early EN after gastric cancer operation is able to effectively improve the nutritional status of patients and shorts the length of hospital stay and gastroenteric function in patients with recovery time, reduces the incidence of postoperative complications and promotes the rehabilitation of patients.
