Abstract
An introduction of the present status regarding veterinary drug residues analysis was made, the paper also made a review of a high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometric(LC-MS/MS) method for simultaneous determination of the nitrofuran metabolites such as furazolidone, furaltadone, nitrofurazone and nitrofurantoin, and briefly summarized the limit of detection(LOD) and quantification(LOQ) in veterinary drug residue and isotopic internal standard method using LC-MS/MS,which can reach the lowest limit of detection in veterinary drug residues analysis at home and abroad. The paper elucidated the great importance of the application of stable isotopes in the sane development of China's food safety system.
