Investigation on Fish,Amphibians and Reptiles of Nankang Region of Gaoligongshan Nature Reserve

The diversity of fish,amphibians and reptiles of Nankang region of Gaoligongshan Natural Reserve was investigated in August of 2006.The results showed that there were totally 4 species of fish belonging to 4 genera,4 families and 2 orders,10 species of amphibians belonging to 8 genera,4 families and 2 orders,and 9 species of reptiles belonging to 8 genera,3 families nnd 2 orders.All of them were components of Oriental realm.Fauna components composed of South-China region,West-South region,and common species of the two regions.Species diversity comparison among Nankang region,Gaoligongshan Natural Reserve and Xiaoheishan Natural Reserve(Xiaoheishan region) showed that not only it retained rich biodiversity in.Nankang region,but also it was important connective channels of intercourse of species and circulation of genes between two nature reserves.
