Abstract

Political philosophy can be classified, according to its academic mission, into three types: the first is a development of philosophy in the field of political research, which is treated as concentration of the cream of political studies; the second is normal research which is opposite to the so-called political science, and whose main mission is to explain political essence or political value; and the third targets value theory and empirical science of unified political studies. This paper holds that political philosophy not only expounds the value of political life, but is also responsible for self-examination and criticism, including the process of political consideration and political thinking within its field of research, and dealing with all philosophical questions arising in political development.
