Design of GPS Data Acquisition System Based on AT89S52

Abstract

The working principle and the communication protocol of GPS-OEM board are discussed and the data format of NMEA-0183 used in GPS-OEM is analyzed.According to the hardware a scheme of sampling GPS data system based on embeded system is put forward.The project of hardware design and the flow of software design of sampling GPS data system are presented.At the same time,the method of reading the navigation message is mentioned in general.The system designed by paper has the character of low power consume and volume,it can be used in the vehicle navigation and the scheme of the design is also suitable for other exploitation of GPS-OEM.
