Study on security, interpersonal trust and the related factors among college students

Objective To learn about the situation of security,interpersonal truest and the related factors and to make the reference for psychological health work in college students.Methods 353 college students were investigated with security scale designed by Chong Zhong and An Li—juan,and with interpersonal trust scale designed by Roller J.B.The security scale consists of two factors,namely international safety and ensuring control feeling.International trust scale consists of two factors of special trust and common trust.Results College students’ security was above the medium level,male students,junior students and urban students scored significantly higher than female students,senior students and rural students respectively.The scores of the students on Interpersonal Trust Scale were lower than in the previous surveys,and there was no significant difference on all demographic dimensions.Security is correlated with interpersonal Trust at the medium degree.Conclusion Regarding security,college students score in the above the medium level,related with sex,grade and family locality.In terms of interpersonal trust,the score in colleges students is lower.Security and interpersonal trust are relating in medium level.
