Sustainable utilization of grassland resources in west segment of (a ilian Mountains and Jiuquan Basin

Abstract
Grassland resources status,types and utilization were investigated in the west segment of Qilian Mountains and Jiuquan Basin.There are the following types such as marsh grassland,meadow grassland,desert grassland,mountainous desert grassland,desertification grassland,mountainous grassland,alpine and cold grassland,mountainous meadow,alpine and cold meadow,and alpine and cold desert.The grassland resources status and problems of reasonable utilization were discussed.Some countermeasures about sustainable development of grassland resources were provided in this studied region.
