Experimental Study on the Effects of Yangjinhua on Striatum Tissue SOD,GSH-Px of Model Rats with Parkinson's Disease

Abstract

Objective: Use single herbs Yangjinhua fine powder to treat rat model with PD to explore some of its mechanism,so as to provide a new way of Chinese medicine to treat Parkinson's disease.Method: Use stereotaxic injection of 6-OHDA to establish rat models with PD,apomorphine induced rotational behavior observation,the model rats were randomly divided into Yangjinhua high,medium and low-dose groups,the Madopar group and the model control group,at the same time set up the sham group as comparison.Observe the impact of changes of superoxide dismutase(SOD),malonic aldehyde(MDA) and glutathione(GSH),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px).Results: After administration 3W,the striatum of MDA content of each treatment group was significantly lower(P0.01),to the Madopar group,the Yangjinhua high and medium dose groups decreased significantly,among the three groups there was no significant difference(P0.05);the SOD content of each treatment group striatum was significantly increased(P0.05),to the Madopar group,the Yangjinhua high dose group increased significantly,between the two groups there was no significant difference(P0.05);Each treatment group striatum,GSH,GSH-Px were significantly increased(P0.05),with the most obvious increase in the Yangjinhua medium dose group.Conclusion: Yangjinhua can reduce the content of PD model rat striatum MDA,improve the content of GSH,GSH-Px,SOD,the mechanism may be by reducing lipid peroxidation,enhancing the antioxidant defense mechanism,reducing the oxidative stress,thereby to protect the neurons,and plays a role in the treatment of PD.
