Study on Public Participation in the System of China's Environmental Impact Assessment

Abstract

Public participation is an important content in the projects of environmental impact assessment,and it is a two-way exchange between the Working Group or the environment and the public.It can improve the effectiveness of the EIA,enhance the whole nation's awareness of environmental protection,and promote the improvement of environmental impact assessment.Despite there are still some problems in the public participation of China's EIA,there are still many deficiencies in the system,as long as the constantly sum up,Public Participation will eventually develop into a more suitable system for China's national conditions.
