The textual research of what quoted ancient books

Abstract

More than one hundred and fifty ancient books were quoted by Shuo Wen Jie Zi Xi Zhuan. It is of great value in collecting missing ancient books and rectifying ancient books, because those editions were beyond the Song Dynasty. This article researches on how more than 9000 words which Shuo Wen Jie Zi Xi Zhuan gathered quoted ancient books in particular, and gains a clear idea of the ancient books' numbers which the book quoted, and studies the system which it quoted ancient books.
