Abstract
Objective To investigate the distribution of different species of Lactobacillus in female vagina. Methods Nugent standard was used to diagnose the vaginal discharge, MRS agar was used to culture Lactobacillus and API 50 CHL was used to identify Lactobacillus. Results 39 women were diagnosed as the normal while 2 women were the Bacteria Vaginosis patients; 9 species 41 strains Lactobacillus were detected, and two of them grew in anaerobic environment only. The strains include Lactobacillus acidophilus(16), Lactobacillus paracasei(7), Lactobacillus crisparus(7), Lactobacillus delbrueckii(4), Lactobacillus fermentum (2), Lactobacillus brevis 1 (2), Lactobacillus plantarum 2 (1), Lactobacillus lindneri (1), Lactobacillus H (1). Conclusion Different Lactobacillus species were detected in different women. Through detect and identify the Lactobacillus, more details of normal flora in vagina were recognized. It provides some feasibility methods to diagnose and therapy the vaginosis caused by micro ecologic changed.
