Abstract
The microstructure and mechanical properties of dual aging treatment Al-Zn-Mg-Cu aluminum alloys with high Zn (11. 64wt % ) content prepared by spray forming technology were studied using transmission electron microscopy (TEM) , scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and MTS-810 materials test system. The results show that precipitation phases of grain interior and grain boundary of the alloys have grown up and coarsened after dual aging treatment. With the increase of second aging temperature, the strength and elongation of the alloys were declined and improved 13% or so compared to peak aging treatment.
