Abstract

Professor Zhang Zhihao considers that insomnia is mainly caused by yin deficiency of liver and kidneys,upward fire of heart and liver,and the disharmony between heart and kidneys,so nourishing liver-yin and kidney-yin,clearing away heart-fire and liver-fire,and communicating heart and kidneys should be the primary therapeutic principle.Professor Zhang's empirical prescription Anshen Decoctionis introduced,and one representative case is presented.
