Abstract
Experimental research was carried on the copper-zinc sulphide ore in Qinghai. The ore properties showed that the particle size was uneven distribution. There are about 15% copper minerals in fine grain(smaller than 10μm))wrapped in the gangue mineral, which is difficult to be effectively recycled. The content of zinc is relatively low, which is on the border of zinc grade(0.5%~1%),so the associated recovery is considered.Directed at the ore properties, when the flowsheet of preferential flotation of copper is adopted, the separation of copper and zinc can be realized.A copper concentrate with the grade of 18.66% and recovery of 83.90% and a zinc concentrate with the grade of 41.69% and recovery of 29.49% can be obtained.
