Abstract

OTN is the transport network that is based on wavelength-division multiplexing technology and in optical layer organization network,it is the main transport network in the next generation. The paper describes the concept,features and multiplexing,mapping principle,OTN equipment of the optical transport network,and briefly introduces the application of optical transport network(OTN).
