Overview of English Reading Research and Teaching

Reading is a dynamic,enthusiastic knowledge and thinking process,it plays an important role in knowledge learning and language acquisition.Through reading,students can not only accumulate knowledge of the language,but also can improve their overall language ability.Obviously,the important position of reading teaching in college English teaching is self-evident.First,this article made a brief introduction to the history of reading,and then focuses on the teaching of reading at home and abroad for research and development.
