Abstract

Philosophy is not a discipline,but rather an exploration activity.Philosophy’s ultimate goal is to solve security problems of human existence.The difference between Chinese philosophy and Western philosophy lies in resolving security issues differently.Westerners think people can survive in the world with the natural abilities,showing concerns for the reality of the surviving environment,so reality seeking becomes the purpose of Western philosophy,withOntologyas the core.The Chinese believe people cannot survive with the natural abilities,and must rely on the whole society,so processing various relationships and the pursuit of goodness become the primary tasks of Chinese philosophy,with thewayof solution as the core of Chinese philosophy.
