Abstract

Bio-assay and field trials of 25% diafenthiuron EC for controlling Plutella xylostella Linne was carried out in Tai’an of Shandong Privience. The results showed that the LC50 and LC90 values of 25% diafenthiuron EC against Plutella xylostella Linne were 924.376 mg/L and 3 693.011 mg/L after 24 h, 384.554mg/L and 2 485.543 mg/L after 48 h. The results of field trials showed that 25% diafenthiuron EC had excellent effect for controlling Plutella xylostella Linne and the control effect of abamectin against the insect larva was lower than the preparations mentioned above.
