Study on relationship of incision infection and surgical infection control measure in surgical patients

Objective To study the Relationship of incision infection and surgical infection control measure in surgical patients.Methods Zhengzhou Yellow River Central Hospital from the January to June in 2012 adopted a series of measures.Strengthen the operating room infection control in patients with surgical wound infection rate.Compared with the same period of last year(June 2011 to December 2011) surgical wound infection rate in surgical patients,research incessantly to improve and consolidate the measures to control nosocomial infection in surgical site wound infection rate in patients.Results Infection control measures in the surgical the former wound infection rate was 7.06%,the different surgical wound infection rate has difference,the pollution class surgical wound infection rate is much higher than that of clean types of surgery,arranged incision infection followed by colon and rectal surgery(11.25%),abdominal surgery(8.02%),other surgery(4.72%),breast surgery(4.55%),bone and joint surgery(3.51%);Surgical infection control measures in the implementation of the infection rate dropped to 3.44%;Wound infection rate after the implementation of the measures prior to the implementation of the difference is significant,P0.05.Conclusions Implementation of infection control measures in the surgical incision infection risk factors of early intervention,grabbed the source of infection from the incision have significance to reduce wound infection in patients,improve the quality of medical services,to ensure that the patient's quality of wound healing.
