Study on the Degree of Agglomeration and Economic Effect of Industrial Cluster——Based on the analysis of industrial cluster index of northern Anhui province

Due to industrial agglomeration within a region,aparticular industry and related enterprises are brought with comparative advantage of the production and business operation activities.Based on the existing industrial cluster research and available data,Taking industrial clusters in northern Anhui province as an example,this paper analyzes the degree of specialization and economic growth potential of the different clusters of the region by measuring location quotient and economic effect of clustering index respectively from static and dynamic aspects.Animal husbandry and fisheries,mining and manufacturing,transportation industry has comparative advantage,and the cluster economic effect of Fuyang,Bozhou,Suzhou are most significant among the six cities in northern Anhui.Ultimately,suggestions for governments' policies concerned with promoting regional economy and stimulating leading industry cluster are put forward.
