Through distinguishing the differences between Hui liu and Hua liu,the rticle has raised the criteria of differentiating the overlapping affix of modern Chinese:without definite meaning;using as word-building;location;agglutinative structrue.At the same time,the overlapping affix has it's own characteristics such as openness.
