Abstract

Objective To study the protective effect of Genistein on human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVEC) which were damaged by cholesterin and explore its anti-oxidiration.MethodsHUVEC cells were cultured in vitro and divided into 5 groups: 1.normal control group;2.Cholesterin damage group(cholesterin 50mg/L +10μmol / L CuSO4);3.Low-dose GST group(22.5μmol/L);4.medium-dose GST group(45μmol/L);5.high-dose GST group(90μmol/L);After cultured,GSH-Px activity,MDA content and the concentrition of NO in HUVEC culture medium were measured.ResultsThese results showed that GSH-Px activity and the concentration of NO decreased significantly in Cholesterin damaged group and MDA content increased,Compared with control group and different doses of GST group(P0.05),and there was no significant difference between control group and different doses of GST group(P0.05).ConclusionCholesterin could induce injury of HUVECS.GST may prevent HUVECS from cholesterin induced the injury.
