Abstract
A new method (keeping fluid volume fraction method) using triangle meshes for moving-interfaces reconstruction in VOF method is presented. The proposed algorithm can approximate the moving-interface by a slash in a single grid, which demands that points of intersection with the public sides between the adjacent grids should be coincide. By keeping volume fraction of fluid invariable in each grid, the nonlinear equations have been built on boundary cells. Then the locations of intersecting points on boundary sides of moving-interfaces and grid sides can be obtained through solving the equations. Finally, the shape of moving-interfaces can be reconstructed. The calculation results of the applied cases show that the new method is effective and feasible.
