On Creative Tendencies of “Taking Poems as Ci-poems”in Zhang Xian's Ci

There is a creative tendency of taking poems as Ci-poemsin Zhang Xian's Ci in early Northern Song Dynasty. This tendency is mainly manifested in three respects: practical function of remuneration and response,expression of literati's emotion and use of verse in Ci. Zhang Xian's Ci has a certain poetic emotion and taste,unlike Liu Yong's Ci. Taking poems as Ci-poemsin Zhang Xian's Ci has important significance not only in transition from the Late Tang Dynasty,the early Northern Song Dynasty to the late Northern Song Dynasty,but in making a great contribution indelible of Su Shi finalizing the historic task of taking poems as Ci-poems. We should pay sufficient attention to Zhang Xian and his significant and important contribution to the history of Ci.
